Vomitorium==>Word of the day

Did you know that a vomitorium is not the room where the "white throne" is kept but rather, the entrance/exit to a stadium?

Not that I was looking for the word but I found it whilst "stumbling".

There is a certain logic to the present-day connotation though.

Hmmmm, and I thought that natatorium was a strange name for an indoor pool.
