Video series or Movies

If you can find them, the Jesse Stone series of TV movies starring Tom Selleck were also pretty good:
  • Jesse Stone: Stone Cold (February 20, 2005)
  • Jesse Stone: Night Passage (January 15, 2006) a prequel to Stone Cold
  • Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise (April 30, 2006)
  • Jesse Stone: Sea Change (May 22, 2007)
  • Jesse Stone: Thin Ice (March 1, 2009)
  • Jesse Stone: No Remorse (May 9, 2010)
  • Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost (May 22, 2011)
  • Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt (May 20, 2012)
  • Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise (October 18, 2015)
(TV movie list from Wikipedia )

I understand that the character and stories originate from a book series written by Robert B Parker, but I haven't read those, so I can't say say one way or another on the books.
However, if you're interested in the books, the series list appears on the website FantasticFiction.com here (books 1-9) and here (books 10-23).
That website is a great resource in general for fiction book series of many genres.

I signed up for Paramount + at the $30 deal. So far, watched a season of Tulsa King and Landman. Would highly recommend Landman. Still not sure on the other. The commercials are a bit irritating but the same is true on Prime.

I pay the extra to leave the commercial out. I just cannot abide by sitting through that drivel

I agree and if I keep it, I will probably pay extra too. I had Paramount previously and had lots of streaming issues, so I did not want a big commitment until I was sure the problems were resolved. So far, no glitches. The commercials would not be so bad if they were not the same 3 or 4 commercials over and over.

My son in law introduced me to the Star Trek prequel called Strange New Worlds on Paramount Plus. I've not sat through too much of it yet being we still have nice weather plus my business has kept me away from TV
I think that will be my next watch. I was a Star Trek fan in the past. Reviews are good for this series.

Well, I started the Star Trek prequel. Only two episodes in, but so far I am very optimistic. It is very much in line with the original series. It is episodic, so I can watch at leisure rather then feeling locked into the next episode.
