VacMaster VP 112 vacuum sealer.

I am really loving this unit so far.

I have done approximately 25 lbs of chicken thighs and breast. Two 20 lb turkeys and about 10 lbs of pulled pork.

I have had three bad seals and they were my fault. I wasn't putting the bag on the seal strip correctly.

There are a few techniques that I had to figure out that makes it easier to use.

Overall this system isn't for the person who just does leftovers. It would be major overkill. But for me it is great. Couldn't be happier. My only concern for longevity of the unit is the lid hinges. When moving I have to be careful not to push and pull on the lid but use the base. The lid hinges flex some. With a little precaution I think this unit will last for a very long time.

Hope this helps anyone who might be looking at an entry level chamber vac.

Cheers!
Bryan

Quick follow up. Still loving the unit. Does a great job for what I need. I found an easy and inexpensive cover for it as I store mine in the garage. It's a weber q120 grill cover. Fits like a glove. Will post pictures if anyone is interested.
