I'm up grading my 3yr old 22.5" performer and would like some helpful info on setting it up right.
I have just purchased the
Cajun bandit Cajun Bandit Smoker Conversion cylinder/High air Flow charcoal ring One/Weber 22.5" cooking grate/Water pan/bowl/replacement legs
Ribolater with the s/s etension ring
BBQ Guru DigiQ DX Pit Viper 10 CFM Fan/Standard Weber Smokey Mtn Mount/Meat Probe standard 6 ft/Pit Probe standard 6 ft
What I would like to know is
Will I have to remove the gas kit I installed in the performer from when I first got it?
Where is the best place for me to install the Digi DX, up from the bottom or drill a hole for it?(Where?)?
Can I use the Cajun bandit AND the Ribolator together?
Will it be more a smoker or cooker?
