Ultimate BBQ Dip for Chips

1 cup softened cream cheese
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 to 1/2 cup hickory smoke-flavored BBQ sauce
1 TB. maple syrup
2 shallots, diced
2 green onions, chopped
1 TB Bone Dust BBQ Spice (recipe follows)
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Your favorite chips and crudités

1. In a food processor, blend the cream cheese, sour cream, BBQ sauce and maple syrup until smooth. Add the shallots, green onion, Bone Dust BBQ Spice and Worcestershire sauce. Pulse until fully mixed. Transfer to a serving bowl and chill.
2. Serve with chips and vegetables. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.

Bone Dust BBQ Spice (a.k.a. The Best BBQ Rub)

1/2 cup paprika
1/4 cup chili powder
3 TB salt
2 TB ground coriander
2 TB garlic powder
2 TB sugar
2 TB curry powder
2 TB hot dry mustard
1 TB black pepper
1 TB dried basil
1 TB dried thyme
1 TB ground cumin
1 TB cayenne pepper

Mix all together. Makes about 2 1/ cups
