I was unsure if Weber would cover the cook box on the Ducane Affinity 3100 we have at our beach house. So I trolled Craigslist for a a decent Weber NG...three burners maximum. I found an S-210 NG on Craigslist for $250. Not too bad. I have an E-210 LP on our deck and it's perfect for us. I sold my Kirkland Signature Oven model...5 burners, infra red searing, infra red rotisserie, side burner, oven, spit, motor, all solid 304 SS...even the cart...but it was always overkill for us. We love the E-210. Anyway, the S-210 just needs some cleaning and it will be good as new. At the same time, we needed a grill to replace the Charbroil rust bucket by the pool at our beach house. Scored an E-210 for $100... cleaned up nicely. The cover is due for replacement but that's about it. NG Webers are hard to come by in decent shape.
Then today I got an email from Weber stating they are shipping the new Ducane cook box and hardware...a year beyond warranty...how awesome is that? I just installed new bars, knobs and manifold on the Ducane now it too will be in top shape. But we re sticking with the S-210 NG. Smaller foot print.
