Two Recipes of Beer Can Chicken

I did two Beer Can Chickens this past weekend. The first (left) was a simple brine, Weber Kickin Chicken Rub and placed on 1/2 a beer. The second (right) was injected and rubbed with Wild Willie's Number One-derful Rub, mopped, etc by the Chicken on a Throne recipe found in Smoke and Spice.

Prepped and ready to go on the smoker:

The wife did the taste test and chose the brined, Weber Kickin Chicken rubbed bird (left).
