Two butts on tonight

Just put two butts on for the first overnighter of the year. Two racks of baby backs for tomorrow afternoon.

As I was pouring the lit lump charcoal out of the chimney and into the ring the stuff started popping and a chunk flew up got me right in the upper eyelid. I'm standing out there with a my eyes closed up tight which has the piece wedged in between my eye and my nose and I'm trying to dig it out without opening my eye. If I had it on video I could probably win a contest somewhere.
 
Maybe you need one of these On a serious note, I hope you weren't burned badly. The cost of BBQ. I never put my glasses on when I dump lump. I'm waiting for the day when that comes back to haunt me
 
Never got one in the eye but I've come very close to stepping on a stray lit coal that I didn't see after dumping . . . yea I know, dumping in bare feet, just asking for trouble, what can I say, I live on the edge, LOL.

I guess close now only counts in dancing, horse shoes and barbecue
 
darn pork always makes you wait doesn't it?. always seems to be worth it though, you got a freezer?
