I "volunteered" to smoke enough turkey breast (bone in or out) for 40 people. How many (or lbs) do you think I will need and how long will it take? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
You should probably go with 4 boneless--as large as you can get them. Cook time will also depend on cooktemp. You can low/slow at 225-240, cook higher in the mid-uppers 200s, cook higher still in the low-mid 300s.
If cooking ahead of time you'l have the cooling/chilling/reheating thing to deal with.
I just purchased (7) 3lb butterball boneless turkey breasts. How long do you think (and at what temp) do you think they will take to get up to 150-160 degrees? Thanks
