The valves on that manifold wouldn't depress or turn, now they do. There was quite a bit of rust on the rail and arms to secure to the cookbox, now there isn't. Really what I do to my manifolds has more to do with them functioning properly and longevity than how pretty they look. That's just a byproduct.

I never remove the valves from the rail. Fine if you do, but I don't find it necessary. I will take the valves apart as a last resort to get them working right again, but try to stay away from that too.
