I just want to thank everyone for getting me addicted to something new. I was begining to think the only way I would get to try tritip was to have a friend ship it from california.

Thanks to the thread a month or so ago I found I have a local trader joes and have been there 4 times in the past month. I can't get over how good it is. All I can say it is even better than the descriptions in other threads.

I used tabasco chips for the smoke wood.

I forgot to mention. The smoked chipolte tabasco makes a great steak sauce. This sauce is excellent. I use it on everything. It's not hot but has an excellent flavor.
