It looks a bit rough, yet it is solid. Some rust here and there.   I'll pickup a new cooking grate and probably cook something on it this week.
The finish is thrashed, but that's OK. I won't have to worry about keeping it pretty.
Anyway,  Its good to be back in the kettle club. I think I "loaned" my last one to a friend about 5 years ago without expecting it to be returned. I think I've had one since the mid 80s so it will be fun to start cooking on one again.
