Think I have a Problem

Peoples,,

Wednesday I put 4 butts down for buckboard bacon. I put them in a large meat tub, covered them with plastic wrap and took them down to the local grocery store. We put them in the beer and pop cooler.
I just checked them and the plastic wrap had come off and there was very little liquid in the tub. They should have been swiming by now.

Question, Should I.

Add some Water.
Rerub them.
Add water and rerub them
Leave them alone.

I have also moved them into a 5 gallon bucket with a lid.

Mine never got real 'juicy' and I had them double bagged in gallon baggies.

I would -think- that the rub is still there. If it were me, I would baggie them.
