Chris usually posts these deals, but this is about as low a price as you will see for this device which is a very good remote thermometer IMO. I have had one for 3-4 years now and it makes monitoring a cook so much easier. You can sit in the living room while the brisket is cooking and not worry about a flare up or running out of gas or coal. You know the exact temp at grate level where the meat is instead of lid level. You know when the meat is getting close to being done without having to open the lid every ten minutes. You can set high and low alarms so you don't over cook or under cook the meat.
If you plan to do more than burgers and dogs, this is something that is more than a gimmick.
