O.K. guy's, we have 1 month to come up with the best stuff to serve while everyone is watching the game. Let's get busy!!

I opened my "Dips/Spreads" binder and what is the first thing I see? Copy of "Food for thought", copied out of Cooking Light mag. Nov. 1994. It is an article about Nell Newman (Paul Newman's daughter) and a recipe she came up with. It sure sounds really good.

Nell's Own Spicy White Bean Dip

1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
1/3 cup fresh cilantro leaves
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. crushed coriander
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cloves garlic
2 TB. fresh lemon juice
1 TB. plain nonfat yogurt
1 (15 oz.) can cannellini beans or other white beans, drained

Place all ingredients in food processor and process until smooth. Serve with pretzels or fat-free chips. Yield: 2 cups

I first posted this back in 9-12-21 on the Humor forum. :giggle:

PARTY DIP

On the silk and on the sable,
On the chairs and on the table,
On the curtains, on the lacquer
Everywhere but on the cracker!
