I've been stalking my local Wally World for the last 6 weeks looking to see if the price would drop on the 14.5 inch smoker. It went from $139 to $99 for several weeks. It was more than I wanted to spend because I have a fairly new 22 inch. I would occasionally check them when I was in the area to see if they would drop.

I haven't been there in a few weeks so I dropped in yesterday to check if the priced dropped and to see if they were still there. Well, sure enough, two of them, brand new, still in the box were still there for $45 each. I grabbed the nearest shopping cart and put both of them in and walked away with a huge smile on my face. It may be the best deal I ever got in anything.

What's funny is, all of the other posts I read about others wife's giving guys crap for buying "another" smoker. My girlfriend gave me a ration of crap asking me why I need another smoker. I already have a 22 inch smoker, and an 18 inch and 22 inch kettle grill, plus a charbroil smoker that I'll soon unload. That was my first smoker. Women just don't understand how much we like this hobby. I can't wait until she goes out shopping and come home with another pair of shoes to add to the 50 that are already in the closet.

Yea that's a nice deal, but take it easy on the lady's, there are more than a few on this board that could school us on smoking and love it just like us.;)

Dustin, I gave the 2nd one to my brother. I was going to sell it and make a few bucks but he wanted it so that's cool.
Timothy, you are right. I apologize to the ladies if that sounded bad. I didn't mean to generalize all women. I try to teach my girlfriend about the art but she has absolutely no interest. And it doesn't help that she won't eat "meat", only chicken.
 
That is a great deal! My wife does the same thing, I tell her "would she rather i collect corvettes?"It's a Weber thing they don't understand.
