I cannot thank you enough for rescuing me (and my turkey)
Both the turkey and the breast came out great!
I finally got the temps up with the extra lit coals and propping open the door.
Needless to say, I ordered a new lid thermometer through Amazon anyway. I don't need a scare like that on Thanksgiving!
