Mrs. TVWB and I visited Panther City BBQ in November 2025 while passing through the DFW area. This joint made Texas Monthly's "The 50 Best BBQ Joints in Texas" list for 2025 and was ranked #10 in the 2021 list.
We had already eaten at Terry Black's Barbecue across town, so we just wanted to get a sense of Panther City's barbecue by ordering some brisket and spareribs. We loved both! The rib was perfectly tender yet not falling off the bone. Cool atmosphere inside and a great outdoor dining and drinking space that I imagine gets packed in warmer weather.
