Tender Quick or Pink Salt?

Prague #1 is cheap, but can't find it locally - anyone have a source? The shipping would pretty much double the price. Or should I just look for Tenderquick? Any significant difference?

Planning ahead to do some back and some belly.

Well, with TQ you are paying ~$5 for 2 lbs of what is 92% salt and sugar. A buck-and-a-half will buy you a half-pound of pink salt (or $2/lb) and you can make substantially more mix on your own. You might be able to find some at a butcher that makes his own sausage. Alternatively, you could add on to your pink salt order, should you order on line, sausage casings, dextrose, etc., for your own sausage-making extravaganza and shipping would be more reasonable then.
