Temp controller for $11 for 22.5"

I was reading why certain guys including techies chose the guru over the stoker, and it was mostly because they enjoy going outside to check the pit. So me and my buddy were thinking how can we get more air to this thing without spending a gob. At Wally world they have a really small desk fan called Massey for $6, and on the next isle they have that foil type dryer duct. Cut the duct in half and duct tape it to the fan. The other end fits on the baffle vent tabs pretty tight. If you need more heat turn the fan on, if you don't keep it off. It blows just hard enough to make the flame barely tilt away from the air and not enough to blow ashes. It is great. I had maybe 20 left over coals from a previous cook. I put these half burnt coals in a chimney to get them started. Dumped the coals, turned on the fan and had it up to 290 degrees in 30 min. This is the big bullet too, with about 15 1/4 coals once it was that high.
