Hey all, it has been a good long while since I have posted to the forums but I felt like I should on this cook. We are having a Talladega/Titans last cook of the summer at our bar here in Nashville. One friend is going to be doing 8 beer butt chickens and he does a mean one while another buddy is doing a 6 lb meatloaf don’t ask me why but that is what he is throwing in. Now I am doing 4 butts on my WSMS and let me tell you they barley fit, the owner picked them out and each one weighs right at 8.5 lbs. I am using the Minion method of course but I tell you all what so far the smoker is holding the temps so good I can’t believe it. I put all 4 on about 8:00 pm and I’m using 2 thermometers to check the temp’s man are they holding so steady and a like I am having a hard time believing they are so close. I well keep a post going on how thy turn out but as of now no wonder I luv to que ? Just wanted to touch base.
