I always get the "Sunday Afternoon Crazies" as the weekend winds down and I start thinking about jumping back into the rat race on Monday morning. To combat the and postpone the onset of the "crazies" I've developed a Sunday evening ritual: cold beverage, hot charcoal and red meat.
This week, I was cooking only for me so I decided to enlist my Smokey Joe.
Here are the highlights:
Searing the Ribeye:
Smokey Joe doing it's thing:
Finished Product, with my beverage paring - Bells beer is just now available in Alabama - we drink it when we're in Michigan in the summer; its great to see it down south:
I still get the crazies, but they come on later and are much milder with a full stomach of rib-eye and a couple of cold beverages.
