When I went to pick it up, it was in much more bad shape than I thought. Pretty much 90% of the under side was rusted through. The lower frame and cabinet was gone. It did have some good parts but too much for me to get into. Very sad to see a 1800$ grill sit in the elements and go to waste like that.The following week I picked up a 20$ 98' genesis silver B to rehab and I'm now working on it. http://50.6.73.68/picit/1438906037.8248.iPicit.jpg

Lol yes, I guess I jumped the gun. Looked pretty good in pics. Different story when I arrived.

Every used Summit I've looked at was in dreadful condition down below. including the one I bought and use. If they are exposed to any rain, it goes into the drip pan where it promptly overflows with caustic grease drippings and rusts everything down there. That and the porcelain coated steel fireboxes rust through in the front where the burners go through. They do not hold up like the Genesis series. The newer Summits do have a little rain diverter on the rear of the hood to prevent this mess.

I never cover my 450 and rain is not an issue. Rust is though
