SUMMIT E 470 REBUILD

ive had the parts laying around finely decided to work on it..... new cook box new burners new hood on the way from Weber warranty i bought the new knobs.. replaced valves from another grill looked newer than mine thanks Marty last photo next project......

You should have a nice cooker there when finished. No denying as far as performance Weber hit it outta the park with the higher end Summit line(s) (those with rotisserie burners the others MEH not so much). Just too bad they didn't match the premium price/performance with premium materials. For what they cost Weber could have done a WHOLE lot better
 
I don't like those 3rd generation ones for all the reasons mentioned many times here. But, I agree with Larry that you are going to have one really nice grill with all those new parts (y) . If you care for it, I am sure it will do great for you.
