Suggestion for first bbq offsite

Hi all,

I will be doing a bbq for a friend in a couple of weeks. This is a "test" for a possible venture in renting my services on weekends so I am treating this as a pay gig (so to speak).

The party starts at 3 and they plan to eat at 5. My plan is to smoke the ribs at home and then put them in a cooler to take to the party (arrive at 4) where I will finish them off on the grill with sauce.

For those that have done this before, what suggestions would you give me on what to bring with me to the party (post, boards, gloves, etc), what questions I should ask, etc.
