Stubbs Charcoal Briquettes

I used 15 lb of this stuff this past weekend and used some more to light the chimney using MM method. This stuff is great it burns really efficiently. It literally ran 20 hours at 200+ degrees with my Auber automatic temperature control on one load. I will be using this for my long cooks from now and K for everything else. Fortunately I stocked up on Stubbs when it was on sale at Lowes a couple months back. I would highly recommend. When lighting it up in the chimney it does not produce a lot of smoke like K and the amount of ash it produced compared to K. This is some good stuff.

Yeah it's great stuff. I missed that sale sadly. I was hoping that they'd do it again for memorial day but no. So now I'm hoping they do it again before the end of the summer. A place had a sale on RO lump which is all I normally use so I stocked up on that.

I've never used Stubbs before, but I plan on stocking up the next time it goes on sale.

I have been using Stubbs exclusivley for about a year now, and I don't see myself ever gojng back to K blue. I never had a bad experience with K, its just that Stubbs seems to burn hotter, longer, and with less ash build up.
I love the stuff!

I stocked up with 20 bags when it was on sale and never looked back. Although I did buy a couple twins of KB for when I run low. I just had to at $8 for 40 pounds. But Stubbs is my fave for all the reasons listed above.
