Started to clean out my clutter.

Yep, I am not going there, I get stressed out when I start thinking about my stash of parts and growing stock of rehab grills.

Stefan, I think you might be disappointed if you try to paint over those end caps that have peeling paint on them. I have found that after a while, they continue to peal under the new paint. Unless the peeling paint is very minimal, I take all the old paint off with the angle grinder and wire cup brush down to bare metal. Also, I don't think they look very good after painting over the peeling paint.

Just letting you know my experiences.

Bruce, the photo looks worse than it is. I used the wire brush on the grinder to get rid off all the loose paint and sanded it to smooth it out. Whatever paint is left is solid. Plus all these grills will be sold.
I just need to clear out some stuff since I really want to start using my Shopsmith I got this year and which is buried behind grill parts.

Good luck Stefan. Hope the weather cooperates. It looks like you have some good weather coming up for painting.
