Spur o' the moment Brunswick stew

I was looking around the forum for a good recipe for some kind of stew.
This is the shiz-nitz.

I got some pulled pork out of the freezer, along with some rib scraps, smoked some boneless-skinless chicken thighs and breasts, and we're off!

You can't really appreciate how good this smells and tastes from this picture, but hey, it's all I got!

Should I make some cornbread to go with it?

Oh, Yeah!
The stew was sooooooooooo good. I shared some with my neighbor, and he was VERY HAPPY.

I used 1 can of "Fire-roasted tomatoes with garlic", and Apple Cider Vinegar instead of White. Also added some frozen Okra. Also added a healthy dose of Blues Hog BBQ sauce, and sprinkled some red pepper flakes on top before eating.

I didn't take a picture of the cornbread, but it looked just like this, which is a couple years old.

Thanks, Chuck.
I am a little disappointed, though.
It has a really sweet taste, obviously from the Brown Sugar. I'd prefer it not so sweet.

I should also add that I'm using the recipe from Mac_D that his Mom sent him. 4th post down on the link.

Can anyone suggest a way to "un-sweeten" my stew?
I'm currently trying additional vinegar in a small batch.
