Spicy Pastrami?

I loved hte normal pastrami and was considering making a couple more.... I'm hoping someone out there has some ideas of how to spice up the traditional pastrami. I have all kinds of dried peppers I could grind and several already ground up. Just curious. I love the black pepper on it, but I'd like to make one all spiced up with the pepper.. Suggestions please!

Thanks,
Josh

I much prefer pastrami spicy as well.I keep the black pepper, garlic, and coriander (all work well with chilies) and add ground New Mex, Aleppo, Cascabel, and a pinch of ground clove.

Thanks! Any ratio suggestions on the spices... The recipe called for 3 tablespoons pepper, 1 teaspoon corriander.

Thanks,
Josh

I suggest keeping the coriander and garlic as is. Divide the 3 T (9 t) for the black pepper equally (roughly) between the other peppers you want to use and the black pepper. After you try it once you can tweak from there.

Have fun.
