i know that many think the q220 tables are a bit flimsy/floppy and i kinda agree. been thinking about it often but never came up with anything really.
so today i was wiping my q220 down and thought i gotta do something. so about the same time i'm lookin at some bamboo that i had cut. so the dim bulb went off and i cut some smallish diameter pieces to fit from the weber cart to the table. i stuck it at the rear of the cart where there is a notch thing and across to the front outer edge of the table. cut it just a tad long so it lifts the table enough to hold the piece in place. did both sides. whats nice is that the pices also fit under the q220 lid. will see how it goes in real practice but for now it seems a heck of a lot better. if you don't have a cart then you will have to figure something differant out but ya get the idea.
