Sometimes I can just kick myself

Yup, those are the cars that you see with burnt out bulbs because no one wants to change them. When I did a tune up I would replace the hardest to get to spark plug first then the job got easier as I went on. The lazy guys would leave in the hardest spark plug and wait for the next guy to change it out. I had a collection of spark plugs with no electrode left because It was such a pain to get out. :ROFLMAO:
This is the best approach to life. Do the hard work first while your focused and full of energy and the rest falls in place.

Jeez, on my wife's car you have to either take the front end off of the car or get to it though the wheel well. Those rusty screws aren't easy to get out of the wheel well housing so it's strictly replace as needed there. You want to talk about a pain in the *** job.
When replacing bulbs in today's rust prone world, I add bulb grease to all the bulbs being replaced and those nearby and anti seize to all the metal fasteners for the next time. In some modern cars and older ones I also add a thin layer of lithium grease or something similar to the rubber seal around the bulb. This has helped me out tremendously when trying to twist them out in the future and especially those that require @#*%^ words to be used while removing. 😁😁

Reminds me of the movie sling blade. "Ain't got no gas" 😂
Yeah it does and a valuable lesson learned. Seems like when you have options you often choose the highest priced one or the worst case scenario. Back in the younger days I would probably have just put some duct tap on it 😂😂😂.
