Some chicken wings, legs, thighs on 22 kettles

A nice 95 degree Saturday meant spending the day outside, having some of my kids friends over to swim, and barbecue. Wings, legs, thighs on my Weber kettles 22, one with vortex, other with SnS. Baked potatoes and shrimp skewers on Weber Summit gasser. Chicken skin was very crispy and nice moist meat. Tossed the chicken in bag with baking powder and kosher salt to coat skin then let sit in fridge on cookie sheets for a few hours before putting chicken on kettles.

Ken,
That is one hell of a cook!!! So how did the chicken from the SnS compare to the vortex? I have both, but use the vortex for skin on bone it chicken. I made a similar, but smaller cook tonight and loved it!

That all looks amazing, I love spring and all these amazing cooks!

The results from the vortex and SnS kettles were pretty similar. Crispy skin and juicy meat. Cook times were the same, about 40 mins.
