Sold the gasser

Well, I finally sold the Genesis Silver B that was taking up valuable space on my deck. I bought a Performer last year to replace it, and it joins a One touch Platinum. I reversed the utensil hooks and ash cleaner on the OTP so I could have the two tables next to each other.

There's enough room still for the propane tanks and my leg-shortened 18" OTS. On the other side is my WSM and a 22" OTG that I listed for sale today.

I've got a Kenmore gasser that's going on 8 years old. I've been giving serious thought to replacing it with a 26" kettle. I think you made a great move.

Although I rarly use it I am keeping my Genesis. I still find times like yesterday evening when I get home late from work and want to grill a steak or burger but dont have the time to use the Platinum. Its not so much the prep in getting the coals hot as it is waiting for it to cool down so I can bring it back into the garage. Especially if I have somewhere to go after dinner.
