Soft Cooler okay for holding meat?

It looks like my large hard plastic cooler will be holding beer, so will the soft nylon insulated style coolers work for holding meat? Any difference in holding times?
 
Not sure what the melting point of nylon is. That would be my only concern. Besides that it would be fine. You're only looking at 200º.
 
Thanks Jon. I'm thinking if I have the meat wrapped in a towel, the nylon should be okay. I'll post the results.
 
I use a soft cooler exclusively. I've kept a large brisket and four racks of spares in it (wrapped in a bath towel) for several hours. Works like a charm and definately easier to carry over your shoulder when you're lugging a bunch of stuff to a party.
