smoking time for a fully cooked ham

My daughter in law wants me to smoke one of her fully cooked hams. Never done one before. How do you go about doing this? How long do you smoke it? Glaze?

Hey Paul,

You can check Chris's reference topics and do a forum search for 'ham glaze' and the results could keep you busy for a while with authors recipes and 'celebrity' glaze recipes.

It's just really reheat, no point in low and slow, how long then is just a function of mass and temperature.

Shawn, you are right!!!!! I did a search first but should have checked Chris's section first. DUHHHHHHHH

As Shawn mentions and Chris points out, remember that with a fully cooked ham you want only to go to low serving temp for an internal (~120-125; 130 at the outside) and no higher lest you end up drying out the exterior portions of the ham. This is really the operative issue.
