Smoking on the Q 220

Hi All

Really am baffled right now how I would be able to get down to the 250 range for smoking on my Q220.



Have tried turning the knob to the lowest and am also using a pan in my attempts at smoking but still am not getting below 300 reading from the thermometer of the Q220.



How are you guys getting it to that 200-250 range?

That grill will really not get down low and slow. It's really not made for it

300 range should be just fine. even on my kettle i cook at 275-350.
