Came across a brand of smoke wood / cook wood for us Ontario, Canada bbqers. Gonna try some soon.

Furtado Farms - http://furtadofarms.ca

I am assuming this is the best we can find that is not big box branded and is done right? Similar to Fruita in the USA I assume. They are located just outside of Kitchener.

Here is their claim:

All of our cookwood chunks are hand selected, cut, and packaged with care to send out only the highest quality product in every bag.
Chunk wood is all naturally seasoned in the wood yard. We aim for a slightly higher moisture content than our cookwood logs. This creates more smoke and flavour output, making them the perfect addition to any charcoal or ceramic grill.
We handle our wood carefully.
Here at Furtado Farms, each piece of wood is affectionately split, sized and packaged by hand… a true wood craft experience.
Each piece of cookwood is touched lovingly, by our experienced, not so tender hands.

We take our wood seasoning extremely seriously, we have to, we are regularly checked, tested and have an exceptional track record when it comes to quality and superior product production, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t have a little fun while we’re doing it.

They carry their wood in all forms with flavors including: Cherry, Apple, Sugar Maple, Hickory, Peach and Oak.

6kg runs approx $29.99. They don't sell directly, but thru Dickson's BBQ - https://dicksonbbq.com/search?q=Furtado+Farms who ships and has 3 locations (Etobicoke, Toronto, Vaughan).

I am also gonna order some Weber Briquettes and Jealous Devil as well.

I have seen this wood but not used it. I have order from Dickson's BBQ before and have been pleased with their service. Unfortunately can only be shipped to Ontario and Quebec. So I am SOL here in Edmonton. My parents live about 15 minutes away from Furtado Farms location so when it is reasonably safe for them to visit Furtado I may get them to check them out and get me some wood.

I am just debating which wood to get. All of the options intrigue me. Thinking to start with Apple although I want them all.
