Smokefire Cover

I've used one of those. Excellent cover. Eventually weather does "beat it down" and it starts to get kind of brittle. But, until then absolutely top notch. Now that you shared a current link I may buy another as the other one on my Wolf is getting a little long in the tooth

My SmokeFire cover has worked quite well so far. I have thought about using a tent seam sealer on it, but really don't think it's necessary.

I have the EX4 and purchased the Weber cover. It’s survived our Canadian winters and summer rain storms without letting water into the grill, no issues.

The Weber cover works well. It doesn’t need to be waterproof does it? I don’t see any reason…

If you store your grill outside in the elements like I do, water proof matters. Part of the year my grill is under a tarp roof but the birds still manage to poop on the cover.

I would think waterproof is a good thing. One thing I really like is the cover on my Big Z. That cover is great. Even after the heaviest storms not a drop under it. As far as how it will do with long term moisture and cold not sure. But this cover is the one that was on my now deceased Genesis for over a year. And it held up beautifully (even the sharper corners of the Genesis). This will be the first cold (but hopefully VERY little snow) season in Big Z. I am not sure if I will even use the big guy through the winter and just stick with the Member's Mark in the garage. I guess I will see how the season shapes up.
Same with the Wolf. I typically never pull it out from under the eve until spring. I'll likely simply make do with the Q320 and the MM grill.

My grills stay outside year round. Always have and always will.

Still can’t fathom needing any waterproof barrier….heck my ‘97 Genesis redhead has sat outside it’s entire life without a cover
