Smokefire app issue - can't set temp from app.

My EX4 stopped allowing me to change temps from the app. That's the only issue so far. Anybody else having this problem? I contacted customer service, they responded quickly with this:

It is a known problem on Android phones since the last app update.

I hope its an actual glitch and not a CYA legal thing.

As I posted in another thread, a new version appeared for Androids in Europe today.

I have no problem changing temp and shutting it down from the app.
