Smoked Turkey??


 
keep more toward the 225 end. Just a guess here, but I'd say around 6 hours. I can't say for sure, since I always do mine at a high heat temp.

I know you asked at 225, but I just did one on Sunday and figured I would throw this info into the ring.

12# Turkey - Pre-Basted
Cooked at average temp of 320 degrees. Apple wood smoked. Took 3 hours. Perfectly cooked. I didn't foil the legs, which I should have. The legs were tasty, just not super moist like the rest of the bird.

If you brine it the cooking time will be reduced, because the brine will make it cook faster. Put the turkey in a turkey roasting bag with the brine. Place in a 5 gal white bucket and pack it with ice.
