I had some leftover PP and smoked chicken and decided to do some pizzas on the grill. It's my first attempt at it and I was quite happy with the results. I only got pics of the chicken pizza:
Here it is ready to go on the grill. The chicken was pulled, I used some Corky's sauce, caramelized onions, and mozzarella.
Here it is coming off the grill:
Some lessons learned:
I didn't let the fire settle down enough. When I put the stones on the grill, there were a lot of flare ups. I should have waited another 10 minutes.
I let them stay on too long without checking. Both pizzas got a little too crisp and the PP pizza got over charred from flare ups.
Overall though, I liked it enough to do it again. Better than cooking them in the over, I think.
