smoke wood from orange trees

Hello everyone,

Has anyone heard of using orange tree wood as the smoking source?? I am new to all this, and some of my friends around here talk about it and have used it. Any thoughts???

Here is the description for Orange Wood. Medium smoke flavor with a hint of fruitiness. Excellent with Beef, Pork and Poultry. Enjoy

You can use any citrus tree wood and it is excellent (season it and ensure it isn't green - as any wood you use). There is usually a few casulties of citrus trees from the winter when they clean out the groves. I am sure if you talk to some of the grove owners around on Merritt Island you can obtain the wood.
