Small butt for buckboard - can I cure less than 10 days?

In addition to some fabulous pork belly bacon, I also have a smallish pork butt currently curing in my fridge. It's only about 3 inches thick. I put it in the cure Wednesday of last week (same day as my pastrami). The belly took 7 days and cured beautifully. The pastrami only took 3 days. Is there any chance that this small pork butt can be fully cured by Wednesday? I'll be leaving town on the 28th and Wednesday and Friday are really the best evenings that I'll be able to smoke this butt.

Thanks.

3" in 10 days seems fine to me. Just overhaul it everyday and you should be fine. I do whole pork loins in the cure for 10 days for back bacon.
