Sirloin Tip Roast

I've got a 12lb Sirloin Tip Roast I'm going to put on the WSM tomorrow.

Is there any downside to cutting this in half and doing them side by side? I'd like to try a couple of different rubs and mops.

I'm doing one exactly like you suggested in Beef Recipes with Seasoned Salt and Cracked Pepper and your mop.

The other I'm going to do with a new rub I just got in the mail today from TexasBBQRub.com.
