Hello all. Long time lurker new poster. So I found a Silver B w premium upgrades by the curb yesterday. Has both side tables. And stainless grates and flavor bars (which I had to toss) the sides of the lid were bad so I painted w matte black. And rehabbed the logo w the info I found here. My issue is I need a left hand silver b (squared off one) side table. Anyone have? Here are some pics so far. 82ABA8CB-C566-4799-A63B-E532C921822F.jpeg

Bobby, sorry I couldn't help you out over on FB. I hope you have some luck finding one here. This is the place if you are going to find one. That looks like a great base grill to do a rehab on.

If you have any questions, this is where you want to ask them as well. There are a lot of people on this forum that rehab weber genesis grills and know a lot of tricks and methods. I will caution you on those lid end caps. It looks like there was some significant peeling of the old finish. It is generally not recommended to paint over the old finish if it was peeling. You will likely find that the underlying paint will continue to peel. It is usually better to completely strip them in that case and repaint after that.

Welcome to the forum.

I was curious about that. I scraped off as much as it’d let me w a scraper. If need be I can strip. We shall try it! Also no worries on the side table!

I have the exact same grill. The "premium" model had two flip up tables, plus SS bars and grates (stamped not rods), and mica colored lids (mine is green too). My stamped SS stamped grates are long gone, but my original SS flav bars are still going after 20 years.

80609 is the part number fwtw.

The right side flip tables are pretty rare, since they were only on a few grills (like yours).

The left side, though, were ubiquitous. If you can't get one from a flipper guy on here, you should be able to get one easily from a donor grill on FBM or CL. Or maybe ebay.

The two tables makes this a pretty nice grilling center workplace but still with a small footprint.

I find a lot of those SS stamped grates have bad welds and even though the grates are OK otherwise.

I’ve never seen one. Took me a while to figure out what I had. I knew it was a silver b because no side burner. But had no idea about the upgraded version. It’s pretty sweet. Should serve me well for a long as I want it.

Found a side table!

Bobby -- here's the twin of your grill.

I still need to install the brand new cookbox that I recently got from Weber. Mine had a little warping and the warranty on the aluminum castings is lifetime for the original owner. I will probably do some other touch ups when I do that.

Even without that, going strong for a 20 year old grill.

Where was your warping? Did you have to provide pics or video?

After 20 years, I had some bowing out on the front of the cook box and a little bowing in on the sides. Which is not unusual.

If the bowing out gets really bad (which mine were not yet) you can lose support for the cooking grates.

But by the fine print, the lifetime warranty is only good for the original owner. So I had to send proof of purchase and some pictures of the warpage. Also had to register the grill online at Weber.
