Side burner now burns yellow flame

Hi All,
was after any advice if possible, please?
The side burner on my old but still solid/reliable Summit Platinum D4 is now burning yellow (instead of blue).
I noticed the other day when I was using it to fire up some charcoal in my Charcoal Chimney to then use on my small kettle charcoal grill.
Any ideas on what’s caused this and if/how to rectify?
The BBQ is now some 16 years old so I guess I shouldn’t complain.

You need to simply clean out the tube from the gas jet toward the burner and the spider guard if one is there

It is usually just a cleaning issue as Larry suggests. It can happen to the cook box burner tubes as well. It might be a good time to give the grill a good cleaning and going over.
