Show your cast iron!

Second round of cleaning on the griswold block logo #10 skillet. Back and cook surface look darn good. Outer sides need more gunk removed!

Sorry for so many pics! *Thanks fer lookin

You guys have some impressive CI sets. I have a small set of very used pans. The three pans are Wagner, a 5, 8 and 10. The searing skillet was a gift from my son some years ago...its a no name made in China, but pretty thick and works well. He bought it on his own with his own money so I will NEVER part with it !
The pans however were my great grandmother's who passed them down to my grandmother who only used them at their northern WI cottage. When the cottage was sold I rescued them, and restored them back to their seasoned glory. They are old enough that the only place the name Wagner is even on them is the handles below the number, and even those are completely worn down so only one handle BARELY still has about half the Wagner name. The rest of the handles are so smooth they are shiny.

I love using them for anything but my wife refuses to use them (Her and I are like fire/ice...water/oil...go figure)

In the pictures here are my everyday cast iron pans, they are Wagners, Griswalds and the 8 inch by the lamp is an 1890 National. The 14 inch pans, one came from my Grandmother, from the early 20's and the other from my mother-in-law.
Not show (yet) are my 4 Dutch ovens, 14 12 10 8 with legs for camping and my 2 dutch ovens for use in the oven.

Also I have about 8 other cast iron pans for camping, right now my son has 3 of them up in NH camping.

My wife wasn't big on keeping them all on display all the time but she liked the look once I did it, very country!
I will get a family picture this weekend if the weather cooperates!
