Help!! Not sure what year this is. Picked it up a yard sale to day. Lid shows a "c" so that means it's a 1981. But the bowl has metal handles. Hang help would be great. Thanks.

Welcome Shawn, I wrote a long winded post last night but I tried to edit it on my tablet and ended up deleting it by accident. Just call me technology challenged. After spending some time with my neighbor last night and showing him the pictures we both agree it is most likely a 1981 model Weber Kettle without the wood covering the handles on the kettle. However the kettle itself could be as old as a 1975 model because of the bigger flanges on the vents and the lid just could have been replaced. Someone with more Weber history knowledge will most likely chime in and either confirm or debunk what we think but that is a best guess on our part. Anyhow it is a nice find and I'm sure you'll have some wonderful product coming off it soon.

Welcome to the forum Shawn. You might try calling Weber and they should be able to give you a lot more info on that great kettle. They are open today. You will find that this forum is full of very friendly people who love to help others. Can't wait to see some pics of your cooks on that beautiful kettle. Many of us just love the older Weber grill, be they charcoal or gas. Congrats on that great vintage kettle.

Welcome to the forum and nice fine on cl. Looking forward to seeing some cooks and don't forget pics we like them. Have fun and welcome again.
