Just putting it out there.... this is my employee's daughter, she's coming up on 10 years old. Her mom is working to get her a wheelchair van to help get her around easier.

Long story short is she was shaken by a babysitter who is still in jail when Sabine was just over 10 months old. Beautiful little girl, lots of struggles.

Anyway, it looks like a great weekend is shaping up.

:) I hope it's not too out of line posting that here, but I usually smile & sometimes get a little watery-eyed when I see or think of her. Definitely don't break the bank, there are a lot of people already in her corner, but like her mom wrote: many hands make light work.

We all have problems and others to help....... everywhere I look I see people fighting hard battles while keeping a better attitude than mine :)

I spoke with the dad (he's worked for me for nearly 4 years), he said "thanks" etc in passing. He said what isn't raised he's going to get the rest financed (Sabine lives with her mom most of the time).

I said I didn't want to tell her mom too early but that I was good for basically a car pmt each month if not each week....and that maybe we (our company) could match donations (up to something like $500) for a day to help things along a little down the road.

I don't know much but what I do know is that I want it to be easy for momma to get her around.

Don't anyone feel bad if you don't donate - just spread the message if you get the chance on how permanent this damage can be. I didn't even know it was a thing until I met these people.
