I searched and couldn't find any threads about this guy even though he's been at it for 5+ years and has amassed an $80 million fortune from humble beginnings as a young butcher in Turkey.
Entertaining though.
 
News headlines over the last week indicated that his New York restaurant has closed. I really haven't read much that would lead me to eat at one of his establishments, more likely to avoid it completely. Then again...... it's probably a given that most of the well known and well publicized chefs are people that I would not like to associate with.

Seems it was a burger joint he opened in Manhattan. The main steak house is still going.
 
I think it was Bob Correll who posted about him awhile ago?
Wearing sunglasses indoors and the whole salt down the arm thing made for a interesting conversation.
